How did you start on your spiritual path?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 15, 2008:
Angels & Demons showed cracks in my understanding of the History of Christianity which my miniscule, conservative town upbringing failed to provide. A world religions course in college opened me up to so many other views of the Divine. The Celestine Prophesy elivened me to take an active part in Life as Spirit.
I know what you're thinking: Dan Brown? James Redfield? I thought this guy worked at a bookstore. He couldn't have found better writers? hehe

Help

Colleges and Universities are a really cool way of getting involved with so many other aspect's of life on going's…..something that this economy should really get a handle of and inspire into the school system's before hand to begin with….but hey……..who am I to differ.
They have such great insightful courses that any one can get involved into. Anyone for that matter, can take a side line course of 'what-ever' without having to do the exams; sit and listen; partake if you will and still be acknowledged to a whole new way of discovery…..and it's cost is minimal to what an enrolled student involved would have to pay…………sorry, but true!!
……just food for thought!

I TOTALLY get the Books thing. The Da Vinci Code was there at the very beginning of my Spiritual walk and opened me to the beginnings of the understanding of my walk away from Christianity. Loved Angels and Demons as well… You work in a Bookstore? Okay, I am lovin' this new friendship. :)
